Police looking for suspect who burned, robbed victim

Tanisha Woods, 35, is wanted by police for stealing a man’s wallet and wheelchair, leaving him burned.

Police are looking for an identified woman who robbed a man of his wheelchair and other items, and left him burned.

Tanisha Woods, 35, is wanted by Northeast Detectives for the robbery that happened on the 11000 block of Roosevelt Boulevard on March 19.

Woods stole the man’s wallet, cell phone and more in addition to his wheelchair.

Police say the man suffered a severe burn to his legs as a result of the robbery.

Woods stands 5 feet 1 and was last seen on the 4900 block of Whitaker Avenue.
